great night with colleagues. great selection of tapas and a fine dessert to finish the evening.

tapas restaurant in the center of karlstad. we liked everything we have ordered and appreciate the good service. I will definitely visit this place again. price approx. 400 sek per pax, quite affordable also.

a decent number of amazing tapas. plates come in different sizes, each good for its kind. friendly and professional staff, beautiful selection of beer and wein. we sat outside fairly well protected from heavy rain.

Environment was excellent, as was the service and food. Restaurant was full on a Thursday evening so I would recommend an advance booking.

We visited my parents this weekend and decided to try out @baronkarlstad. The setting of the restaurant is beautiful located in an old bank and it feels luxury to enter the doors, far from an ordinary tapas restaurant where it almost always is more intimate. It's cool but we can imagine the acoustic being a big problem with the high ceiling and hard walls. Anyway, the food was good! Some dishes really good and some dishes a bit disappointing. The top three were the potatoes, the mushrooms and the fish taco. The disappointment was the Pata Negra ham, which tasted far from what I'm used to when it comes to quality. But overall we had a really pleasant evening.

Great food*, except one dish with padronpeppar avoid it! *only tried vegetarian options) I go for 3 or 4 dishes if out on a casual evening and it hits the spot, not to much. The interior is quite impressive.

4.5 stars. Great food and staff. Highly recommended. 600kr for a generous amount of food and drink
