Texas Longhorn (raett Kategori) från Karlstad

Mysig plats som ligger ca 3 minuters promenad från centrum, ganska hög musik, bra mat med bra val på alla rätter och trevlig personal!

the half of the steak was rare and the other half was medium-sized, the other steak was medium- to medium-heavy. we did not notice that it was rare until after a few bites, the personal told and they asked if...we wanted it to be cooked a little longer after my opinion, that is a bit unhygienic after having already eaten a bit of it. it took a long time before the starter arrived, then only moments later, after we got the starter, we got the main dish. a drink we never got. the whole experience was bad, I wouldn't get this place back for a good steak.

really beautiful entourage, friendly staff and amazing eating. had a tasting plate with various meats, all on point. came with two babies who were not a problem. children's menus were very good and

ribs and striploin steak were good. many different types of beer. the coworkers spoke good English and had English menus for us. overall nice experience, price is appropriate for Swedish.

I never thought I'd experience this! the service was terrible! almost empty, (3 tables with a total of 10 people inside), and after us give a table and let us wait until about 10 minutes the waitress said it would take at least 50 minutes to get the food! probably much longer! we wanted to eat steak and find a place to eat and was recommended to texas longhorn in karlstad. we arrived at 19.15 a.m. and although the restaurant was almost empty, they told us that they could not finish the people who wanted to eat there with “everything”. we decided to go and decided to go somewhere else than we were starving. I do not think we will ever visit again! a restaurant that cannot handle 10 people during summer season should not be open at all.

We were here for lunch. My two kids prefer a dish combination which was not on lunch menu which the waiter handled perfectly smooth. They were very happy with their food. The same was I. The burger is not among the very best ...but better than most places claiming to have gourmet burgers... We came here on way from Oslo to Stockholm because of earlier experiences and was satisfied again.

This is the first time that we've been to a smokehouse in Scandinavia and i was really impressed : ) It was very tasty and felt full to the brim when we left, it wasn't overly busy when we visited which is always nice so...you don't get that feeling of being rushed. The waiter was excellent with the service i couldn't fault anything. A great place for a meat feast, maybe a tad expensive but we factored the cost in because we knew that Scandinavia would be costly.
