Beautiful cozy atmosphere for a beer or lunch / dinner. Great portions and delicious food at reasonable prices. The service was also great.

It was a great place. Cool aunthentic environment, traditional look will definitely enchant you. I love beef steak. The options for alcohol are huge. Would like to go back.

Mixed Swedish and English-speaking staff (for which not complained! all offer great service. Genuine setting and some innovative ideas like the menu layout; great food and drinks worth the money. Remember that the restaurant is very illuminated, which is a blessing for me, but for some could become an obstacle.

Always nice staff, very polite and well know about the guests beers! Actually, I don't understand that all these people complain about the delays on Friday or Saturday night. Have all those people who complain, ever worked in their lives? If a restaurant is busy, you should expect smaller delays. If you know what you want, this is a great place! A real English pub with a wide selection of Swedish beers! If you go for an English pub, then you are well prepared to speak in English : Thank you for the great selection of beers!

What a local gem! Very welcoming and friendly pub with a great menu. Inspired not only by a fascinating figure in British history, but clearly by a careful and passionate study of what makes a good British pub, designed for the trendy Uppsåla market. Good beer selection- don't miss the Black Cab Porter. Food is well thought out and utterly delicious. Winston would have loved it. Fish and chips would clean up in Britain, with batter that doesn't slip off or turn into oily gunk. Steak sandwich was a revelation. Absolutely perfect. Whisky selection for the connoisseur, at attractive prices. Service is friendly, approachable, and warm. Aussie fella and Irish lass were charming and very helpful. Atmosphere is fun and warm without being too kitsch. Definitely recommend if you want a great evening. Coming back for sure!

Liked this pub, although didn't have much time to spend there because of closing time. Much effort has been put on decoration and one gets an impression Mr. Churchill is appreciated. Staff is friendly and location excellent just about 100 yards from the walking street where many bars are found. There is a WiFi for customers, too, just ask staff for passcode.

Great British food and a large selection of quality gin tonics, whisky and beer. Lovely staff. Authentic. Feels classy, yet familiar and welcoming. Just the right place to walk into for a plate of hot comfort food and a pint after a long walk in the cold. Cheers!

Lovely and charming English pub off the main square with a boudoir, cozy vibe. Service is fast and the waiters are super nice! There's ample seating spaces indoors and outdoors and two well maintained lavatories. Prices are slightly higher but not enough to be called expensive.
